Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2020

About the Examination

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT) jointly conducted by 7 IITs (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, madras and Roorkee) and IISc, Bangalore.
This examination tests understanding of the condidates in various undergraduate subjects in ENGINEERING/TECHNOLOGY/ARCHITECTURE and POST-GRADUATE level subjects in SCIENCE.
Gate 2020 will be conducted for 25 subjects/papers. GATE 2020 score will be valid for THREE YEARS from the date of announcement of the result.
The ORGANIZING INSTITUTE (OI) for GATE 2020 is INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY DELHI (IITD)

Eligibility for Gate 2020

  1. Eligibility Criteria for GATE 2020
    2. Source: Gate 2020 Notification
  2.  If candidate satisfies conditions given above he/she has to submit The DEGREE CERTIFICATE/ PROVISIONAL CERTIFICATE/ COURSE COMPLETION CERTIFICATE/ PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE/ MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATE issued by institute or society.
  3.  If a candidate is expected to satisfy criteria given in table he/she has to submit or upload a CERTIFICATE FROM THE HEAD OF DEPARTMENT/INSTITUTE. 

Age limit 

There is no age limit for the application of GATE 2020. You are eligible, if you satisfy above mentioned conditions.
