Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self Dependent India)
He said that Atmanirbharta or self dependence is not self centric system. It is something for the welfare of world, coordination and peace. By Atmanirbhar Bharat he meant that we have to depend on indigenously produced products. we have to buy Indian products so that we can make our products competitive with those of global product and it can give a boost to the Indian companies. He gave example of how disastrous situation became opportunity for us, as an example he said on the onset of Covid-19 India was merely producing PPE(Personal Protective Equipment) and N-95 masks. But by using this havoc as an opportunity India started indigenously producing 2 lakh PPE and 2 lakh N-95 masks per day.
Five pillars of Atmanirbharta
- Economy- He said we need such economy which can bring quantum jump not incremental change.
- Infrastructure- We need such infrastructure which can represent Modern India, he said.
- System- A system which is based on 21th century's modern technologies, not that is driven traditionally.
- Demography- Demography is the composition of human population. The composition means ration of population of different age groups.
In the above pie chart, population composition in shown in the period of 5 years. In the following chart there is only 3 divisions which shows basically working and non working age groups. The population below 15 years and above 45 years is taken as dependent or non working and between 15 to 45 years as working group which adds value to the economy of the country and he called it as "Vibrant Demography".Source : C2 and C14 Table, India, Census of India 2001
Modi Ji was talking about this population shown in orange colour which adds value. We have biggest chunk of population of this age group. We can harness benefits of this group. There it is very much important for a prosperous economy. Therefore demography is one of five pillars of Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan.Source : C2 and C14 Table, India, Census of India 2001 - Demand- India with more than 130 Crore population have a large demand of all products. We can revive or help to revive economy by using Indigenous Products. Mr. Modi said, "To meet the demand, every stakeholder have to take responsibility seriously.

Reforms
He talked about reforms took place in last six years like JAM(Jan dhan Aadhar and Mobile) which made it possible to send money directly in the pockets of poor, small farmers and those who are in need.
He also talked about reforms that will take place in agriculture, national tax system, laws, infrastructure, Human resources and other in other areas to reduce the effect of such problems in future and these reforms would increase Efficiency as well as Quality.
Local to Vocal
He said, " at the time of crisis Local Manufacturing, Local Market and Local Supply Chain help us". Global products in the world were once local, people used them, advertised them and felt proud for them, they became global products, also said.
